    3. Describe the guideline recommendations for the management of hormonal replacement therapy in menopausal women.

    4. Evaluate the safety and efficacy of the various treatment options for the prevention and management of osteoporosis.

    5. Discuss updates in the recommendations for RSV and pneumococcal vaccinations .  

     

  • Pharmacogenomics and Updates in Diabetes Management

    At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

    1. Describe the current framework, recommendations, and evidence to apply patient specific pharmacogenomic information to individualized treatment decisions.

    2. Evaluate various drug interactions and patient specific pharmacogenomic drug interaction considerations.

    3. Discuss guideline updates in the management of diabetes mellitus, including cardiovascular and renal considerations and their impact on pharmacotherapy selection .

    4. Identify how continuous glucose monitors can be utilized to optimize pharmacotherapy regimens for patients with diabetes.

    5. Apply the updates discussed for vaccinations, hormonal and osteoporosis therapies, and diabetes management through a series of interactive patient cases and discussions .
