After participating in this session, the participant should be able to: (1) Compare and contrast the clinical presentation of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children and adults. (2) Apply evidence-based strategies for screening, diagnosing, andmonitoring of ADHD in adult patients.(3) Evaluate the efficacy and outcomes of traditional and new drug therapies for the management of adult patients with ADHD.(4) Identify the various treatment options when first-line interventions do not result in adequate clinical improvement.
