Accreditation University Learning Systems (ULS), is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a Provider of continuing pharmacy education. Credit is accepted by all states that require CE for relicensure. All ULS Seminars carry a ACPE UAN "P" designation.
Physicians American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP): This Live activity, Providing Better Patient Care: Series XVII, with a beginning date of February 20, 2013, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 15.00 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. American Medical Association (AMA): The American Medical Association (AMA) accepts the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Prescribed credit as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1TM Credit for the AMA Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). When applying for the AMA PRA, AAFP Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Canadian Physicians Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive up to 15 MAINPRO-M1 credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physician Assistants American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for Prescribed credit from AAFP. Nurse Practitioners The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts AAFP Prescribed credit. Nurses University Learning Systems is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 11409.b. This program is approved for 15 hours (5 hours per day) of nursing credit. Requirements for Credit Credit is dependent on verification of seminar attendance by on-time check-in at each session and ULS receipt of completed evaluations. Credit is determined based on actual attendance on a per session basis, no partial credit is awarded. Statements of Credit are usually issued on site at the conclusion of each session providing attendance requirements have been met. (Note: Approximately one 15-minute break per 2.5 hours.) |
